Yamah Sadozai | CEO

Meet Yamah, our esteemed CEO, Partner, and Chef extraordinaire. Born and raised right here in Shakopee, Yamah's culinary journey began in the heart of his family's kitchen, alongside his mom. In 2013, he took his passion for cooking and community to new heights by opening Ariana Bistro in St. Louis Park with his family. The restaurant quickly became a local staple, earning the title of the number one spot in Minnesota for Mediterranean quick-serve and Gyros. Yamah's dedication to cooking delicious food is only rivaled by his commitment to fostering a positive community impact.

Before Spicy Feta ever existed, Chef Yamah was already a force in Minnesota’s Mediterranean scene. For more than a decade, he built Ariana Kebab and Gyro Bistro in St. Louis Park into local favorites—known for bold flavors, meticulous technique, and a devotion to honest, handcrafted food. His recipes aren’t just dishes; they’re a blend of Afghan, Turkish, and Greek family traditions perfected over years behind the grill.

Chris and Yamah’s story began far from the kitchen—training together on the MMA mats for over six years. That same grit, trust, and camaraderie eventually carried into the restaurant world. When Chris saw firsthand the depth of Yamah’s culinary talent and his forward-thinking approach to restaurant culture, the path was obvious: build something bigger together.

That vision became Spicy Feta—a modern Mediterranean concept rooted in Chef Yamah’s decade of expertise and elevated by a shared passion for flavor, hospitality, and community.

Every plate reflects the duo’s personality: bold, vibrant, a little fiery, and made with genuine love. Their mission is simple—redefine what Quick Serve Mediterranean can be for both guests and employees, and prove that fast food can still have soul.
